This is a high quality much better than what I got when I purchased my DCSThe only problem is that they don't fit over the spindle rod which is made fromstainless steel as well. I will have to drill out the spit forks to make the holea little larger. Not an easy job going through the stainless. will let you knowhow it goes when I am done.

After an initial misstep with the first order, these arrived intact and well packed. The stainless steel is so much more resilient in the salt air near me, and they just feel more sturdy than the ones that came with the rotisserie. I like the smaller dimensions of them, so I can easily hold game hens as well as regular fryers. (The larger ones can be too large for the smaller items.
Heavy forks nice enough, my screwup by not measuring closely enough, it would not fit my bar. I managed to drill it out and then it worked.

These are HUGE!Been searching high and low for 4-pronged meat holders to replace the flimsy 3-pronged ones that came with my Hamilton Beach Convection Oven/Rotisserie. These looked like they might do the job. I would never have made it through engineering school. Yes, the measurements are right there, but it seems I couldn't convert the stats into real world terms as they would relate to my little toaster oven. !!!!These are really nice, well-made forks, but - stupid me - they are for a very large backyard BBQ. I am going to try to make them work on a chicken, but I have my doubts. Going to give it a 5 star anyway, because they ARE really nice and it's not the company's fault I can't find me own arse with a flashlight.

When I was a kid, the sound of my mother opening the drawer she kept the Spanking Hairbrush in was enough to set me straight. Now I have this to threaten my kids with. MUCH better. ;) Seriously, the set works just fine for what it's intended. With practice and prayer (and no alcohol), these don't come loose any more often than the original or other brands, leaving the chicken hanging. Sure is a lot of fun tightening any of these with greasy fingers (and beer on board). If there's an outdoor grill cooking implement than needs some reinventing, it's these rotisserie things. Frankly, beer can chicken is at least as good and a whole lot less fuss.DO make sure you get the right size for your rotisserie rod: diameter and shape of rod.

A few years ago, I purchased a 48" Natural Gas Wolf grill - it's beautiful. Almost immediately, the plating on the spit forks started to fail. I noticed small spots of rust after moderate use & started to research replacements. I saw these & ordered them hoping that they were what I thought - all 304, larger, stronger... They've surpassed my expectations. Beautifully constructed, VERY strong, and VERY sharp. I kept my old spit forks for times when we have company & I need to do a couple birds on the rotisserie but I'm almost embarrassed for Wolf that the forks were so cheaply made. I'm very happy to say that now I own spit forks that are commensurate with the quality of the grill they're used in. My only beef (and it's a minor one) is the lack of thumb screws but after using them a few times, I may even prefer the setup how it is since a small set of pliers does the trick quite nicely. If you're researching spit forks, spend the extra $10 to buy these 304 stainless ones over the chrome plated ones so you'll never have to replace down the road.

Nice, heavy and sturdy. Bought this to replace the rotisserie forks (chromed type) on a 304 stainless GE Monogram outdoor gas grill. Same rotisserie as the older DCS and others used. The stainless rod is supposedly 1/2", but forks that fit are hard to find. So I went to my shop and sanded the edges of the rod a little to allow these forks to fit. Now the grill is all 304 stainless. My only modification to the forks will be to replace the hex set screws with thumb set screws, so I won't be needing a wrench to tighten the forks to the rod.

Don't try to mount over rough stone surface as there will be lots of unattractive gaps around the edge to deal with. Don't expect the stainless steel to remain rust free. The stainless steel will show rust marks after a year or so's exposure - best to have roof protection to limit this. Also give the stainless a coat of carnauba wax to further delay any rusting.

These are great doors, with that said guys, don't start your project until all you have your grill, sink, doors or what ever on site. It's a costly mistake to prefab anything going off measurements from the Internet. I use these doors often, but I also tell my customers that I will start there project once everything is on site.
