The 34 In. Sunstone Gas Grill Base Cabinet is uniquely designed to receive multiple Gas Grill Brand Models right out of the box easy installation. The cabinet comes standard with a Right Side Door Enclosure for a Propane Tank or Trash Bin while the Left side has Two Large Drawers with Ample Storage Space for all your BBQ Utensils, Rubs and Sauces. The cabinet comes Fully Assembled, only requiring to fasten on the four Peg-Legs (included), screw in place each 304 SS Rod Handle and mount the Front and Back Kick-Plates. This Cabinet makes use of a “TRIM-KIT” that is installed on the front face of cabinet, which adapts the cabinet to fit your preferred grill, and is compatible with Grills “CUT-OUT” Sizes between 23-7/8 In.To 28-1/2 In. Width by 8 In. to 10 1/4 Max Height with counter at 3/4 In. Height with Filler Rail installed or removed. Additional Height can be adjusted by Removing Bottom Filler Rail or by adding a Thicker Counter or Backer Board. Please Specify the Correct “TRIM-KIT” to be included with cabinet to fit your grill, if your grill is any of our Models we will automatically include the correct Trim-Kit. Please refer to the Cabinets Specification Sheet for more information, see the second page showing the various insert sleeve dimensions, this refers to your grills “Cut-Out” Dimension – match this up to the correct “Trim-Kit” and specify this piece on your order.

What is the minimum counter depth to install Ruby 4 Burner Pro-Sear 36″ with a wall behind the grill?
(I understand from the manual that the cut out is is 22", and that I need to leave at least 4" behind the back of the grill and the wall, but what I don't understand is how far the back of the grill extends behind the cut out. Because I don't know how far the back of the grill extends behind the cut out, I can't calculate the counter depth I need to leave 4" between the back of the grill and the wall.)

Hi - Measuring from the back of the grills FireBox it is 3-5/8" to the back edge of grill, and from the cut-out line its between 2-3 inches. The hood extends an additional 3" when Open, so is why you need a minimum 4" clearance. All this is illustrated on the grills Specification Sheet, you can download in the section box Downloads.
