Description
The StarBBQ 48" Smokeless Fire Pit Insert Dual Grill Package (STARBBQ-48SFPR-PKG) is a large fire pit insert that burns with hotter flames and almost no visible smoke. It comes with a short post and a tall post swivel griller, so you get two cooking heights.
The insert is 55-1/2" diameter x 11-1/4" H, fits a 48" fire pit with a 50" diameter x 13" H cut-out and weighs about 75 lbs. It is cold-rolled steel with a high-temperature powder coating and fits standard retaining wall blocks for DIY stacked-stone fire pits.
A raised base moves air under the fire for better combustion when you burn dry, seasoned hardwood. It also takes charcoal. See our warranty page for coverage.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

This 48" fire pit insert is great. The smokeless design really works, no more dodging smoke, and with the dual grill package we can cook a ton. Installing it in our existing fire pit was easier than I expected and it feels really solid.
I'm serious about BBQ and really impressed with this. Big cooking surface and the heat is even for grilling everything from steaks to veggies. The smokeless part really makes a difference when you're sitting by the fire while you cook.
The 48" smokeless fire pit is great and really cuts down the smoke, which is a big plus. The dual grill package is convenient, but I think the grates could be beefier for searing. Overall a solid addition to our backyard.
We have people over a lot, and this 48" fire pit with the dual grill has made those nights so much better. We can keep a cozy fire going and grill at the same time without smoke bothering anyone. Really versatile and well designed.
The smokeless part works pretty well and 48" is a good size. For the price though, I was hoping the grilling parts would feel more premium. Gets the job done, just didn't blow me away.
