Description
The Sunstone Series 28" Dual Zone Charcoal Grill (Item No. SUNCHDZ28) is a built-in 304 stainless steel grill that burns charcoal or wood. It is made for searing, slow smoking and roasting over a live fire.
A height-adjustable burn tray lets you raise or lower the fire to control heat. The dual-fuel drawer system makes it easy to switch between charcoal and wood, and the removable, lockable safety drawers include a fully removable ash drawer for quick cleanup. Adjustable front and side vents control airflow. A smoker/steamer box is included for mesquite, oak or charcoal flavor.
The hood is 16 gauge and the firebox and drawers are 18 gauge 304 stainless steel. The grill measures 28" W x 28" H x 27-1/8" D, needs a cut-out of 25-1/4" W x 12-3/4" H x 22" D and weighs about 120 lbs.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

This charcoal grill is a beast. The 14 gauge 304 stainless is no joke, very sturdy. Done a few cooks on it now and it holds heat great, with that charcoal flavor I love.
The all stainless build is a big step up from my old grill and it fits my outdoor kitchen perfectly. My only critique is the price, it's a lot of money for a charcoal only grill.
The 28-inch size is just right for my family, and the single zone is easy to manage. I'm really impressed with how well this grill holds and distributes heat, making it simple to get those perfect char marks. Cleanup is also surprisingly straightforward for a charcoal grill.
Love cooking on this charcoal grill. The 14 gauge 304 stainless is really solid, you can tell it'll last. Every steak and burger has come out with great charcoal flavor and a good sear.
Thrilled with my 28 inch charcoal grill. The 304 stainless is great quality and it fit right into my outdoor kitchen. Really enjoy cooking on it, real charcoal flavor and easy to control every time.
