Description
The Signature Series 14" x 20" Beveled Frame Right Swing Vertical Vented Door (BA-VDVR1420) is an access door for the space inside an outdoor kitchen island. Its bottom louvers let air move through, which matters where a propane tank or gas lines are stored.
It measures 17" W x 23" H x 3" D and fits a 15" W x 21" H cut-out. The door is vented with bottom louvers. This is the right swing version; the left swing version is item BA-VDVL1420. The door opens 120 degrees on built-in hinge pins, so no hinges show on the face. Depth from the face to the frame mounting hole is 1-3/4". It fits a typical 4" island frame.
The frame is 16 gauge 304 stainless steel and the door panel is 18 gauge 304 stainless steel, with a No. 4 light brushed finish and the beveled frame that matches the rest of the Signature Series. It comes with the Signature Series Beveled Handle (zinc alloy, chrome plated).

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.
Customer reviews
About our reviews: they come from verified direct customers and from our authorized dealer network, including Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon and other Sunstone dealers.
This 14x20 vented door is a solid piece for my outdoor kitchen. The beveled frame looks sharp and it feels sturdy, not flimsy at all. Pretty easy to install for getting to my propane tank, and the left swing works for my setup.
I needed a vented door for my outdoor grill island to let some heat out and this one fit the bill. The 14"x20" size is good for what I needed and the stainless steel has a nice finish. No complaints, it does exactly what it's supposed to.
Love this door. I used it to build a trash bin into my island and the venting is a nice touch. The stainless quality and the beveled design really dress up my outdoor kitchen. Recommend it if you need a sturdy access door.
The door itself is fine and the 14x20 size is accurate. It functions well enough for accessing the interior of my island. However, for a single vented door, I felt the price was a bit steep, even for the Signature Series. It's good, but not amazing value.
This door was better than I expected. The craftsmanship on the beveled frame is excellent and the left swing opens smooth. Right size for getting to my gas lines and it looks great in my stone island. Quality like the rest of their stuff.
