Description
The StarBBQ Folding A-Frame Camper Charcoal Grill (STARBBQ-AFCG) is a portable charcoal and wood grill for camping, tailgating, beach trips, overlanding and backyard cookouts. The A-frame legs fold flat for storage and open into a stable base with the cooking grate raised above the fire.
The body is heavy-duty cold-rolled steel with a high-temperature powder-coat finish, and the elevated cooking grate is stainless steel, which resists rust. The firebox has a perforated steel bottom for airflow, so charcoal lights fast and the heat stays even.
Open, it measures 12-1/2" W x 24" D x 10-7/16" H. Folded, it is 12-1/2" W x 23-13/16" D x 2-1/8" H. It weighs 14.5 lbs.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

Picked this up for weekend camping trips. It's compact and easy to set up, which is great for the camper. But the charcoal grate seemed a bit flimsy after a few uses and I don't think it'll hold up to heavy grilling over time. Good for light use, just don't expect a tank.
Exactly what I needed for tailgating at football games. Folds down small enough to fit in the trunk with the rest of our gear and sets up in a snap. Cooked some great burgers and brats and the charcoal flavor was spot on. Recommend it if you want something actually portable.
We RV full time so space is tight, and this grill fits the bill. The A-frame sets up and comes down fast and doesn't take much room in the storage bay. We've grilled everything from chicken to corn on the cob and it always has that classic charcoal taste. Sunstone did a nice job on this one.
Bought this for last minute backyard cookouts and it's been handy. A lot easier to pull out than my big gas grill for a few steaks or hot dogs. Good size for 2 to 4 people, but if you're feeding a crowd you'll want something bigger. Cleans up pretty easy too.
This has been great for family outings. Took it to the beach last weekend and it was easy to carry and set up. The charcoal gets nice and hot and gives everything that smoky flavor you can't get from gas. Sturdier than I expected for a portable grill, and it packs down small.
