Description
The Ruby Cooking Grates with 15" Round Inset (Ruby-CIRGR5B-4pc) are a set of four 304 stainless steel grates for the 42" Ruby 5B grill. The grate bars are 5/8" thick for heat retention and even cooking.
The 15" round inset gives you a place for indirect heat grilling and round accessories. The set weighs about 12 lbs and covers the full cooking area. The grates resist rust and corrosion, food is less likely to stick, and they drop straight into the grill for replacement. For natural gas or propane models. See our warranty page for coverage.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

What an upgrade. These 5/8" 304 stainless grates for my 42" Ruby hold heat really well and I'm getting great sear marks on steaks and burgers every time. Easy to clean too, worth the money.
These are solid, no question on the 304 stainless. They fit my 42" 5 burner perfectly and the 15" round inset is nice for a wok or searing pan. But at this price I expected something more, maybe heavier steel. They work well, it's just a lot of money.
I'm big into BBQ and these are the best grates I've had. The 5/8" solid stainless is really durable and holds heat great. My old grates don't even compare, my Ruby cooks so much better now.
Definitely better than the stock grates. The 304 stainless feels solid and the 15" round inset is handy for my cast iron skillet. Easy to install and they fit my 42" 5 burner perfectly. Happy with them, though the price is a bit steep.
You can tell the 304 stainless is good quality, and they feel very sturdy. Fit my 42" 5 burner as advertised and the round inset is useful. They work well, but I didn't see a big enough improvement over my old heavy duty grates to fully justify the price. Good, just not amazing.
