Description
The 6" Sunstone Universal Appliance Jacket Divider (SUNJKDIV6) joins several Sunstone jackets into one group. The whole group goes into the island through a single cut-out, with the appliances connected in one continuous run instead of separate jackets with dead space between them. You can build packages such as a gas grill with side burners, or a charcoal and gas grill combo.
Each jacket side takes minor assembly. To use the divider, leave off the jacket sides that would face each other, then attach the open left or right side of each jacket to the divider. Open the utility port in the divider to run gas or electrical lines between appliances. It is 304 stainless steel with left and right utility ports and a zero clearance design.
Like the jackets, the group has in/out vents at the lower front and upper back edges so excess heat and gas pass through, and each appliance hangs free from the upper rim. Put adjustable peg-legs under the whole group to set it on any surface before the island is finished or for tailgating, or mount it on the post mounts (SUNJKPOST) with the side wings (SUNJKWING) for a post-mount grill package. Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

I needed this divider to combine a couple of Sunstone jackets for my outdoor kitchen build. It does the job, no doubt, but for a simple metal divider, the price felt a little steep. Installation was straightforward enough, though.
This 6" divider was just what I needed to tie my appliance jackets together. Gave my custom island a clean, unified look. Quality is excellent and matches the rest of my Sunstone pieces.

The divider works as advertised to connect the appliance jackets, which is good. It definitely helps create a more finished look for the outdoor island. However, I just think the cost for this piece of metal is a bit much.
