Description
The 46" Sunstone Charcoal Grill Base Cabinet (SAC46CGDC) is a gas and charcoal hybrid cabinet that takes many gas or charcoal grill brands right out of the box. Door enclosures on the right and left hold a trash bin or storage; they do not fit larger propane tanks. Two large center drawers hold utensils, rubs and sauces.
A trim-kit on the front face fits the cabinet to your grill, covering cut-outs from 35-3/4" to 40-1/2" W and 10-3/8" to 12-3/4" max H with a 3/4" counter, with the filler rail installed or removed. For more height, remove the bottom filler rail or add a thicker counter or backer board. Specify the trim-kit on your order; for our own grill models we include the correct one automatically. Page two of the Cabinets Specification Sheet lists the insert sleeve dimensions to match against your grill's cut-out.
The cabinet is 304 stainless steel, and the drawers run on soft-close tracks. It ships fully assembled. You fasten the four included adjustable peg-legs, screw on the 304 stainless steel rod handles and mount the front and back kick-plates. See our warranty page for coverage.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

This charcoal grill cabinet is built like a tank. Heavy stainless and it fit in pretty well with the rest of my outdoor kitchen. My only gripe is the instructions for fitting my particular grill weren't very clear, took some fiddling to get it right.
Exactly what I needed. I have a hybrid gas/charcoal grill and finding a base that would work for it was a nightmare until I found this one. Install was easier than I expected and it looks great with the rest of the cooking area.
I'm a contractor and I like the design and how sturdy it is. Being able to drop different grill types in is a big plus for clients, and it saved me a lot of custom fabrication time. Stainless finish is nice and should hold up outside.
