Description
The Sunstone 21" Back Appliance Panel (item SCC21SPE) closes off the back of an appliance cabinet and gives the run a clean, finished look. It works with Sunstone electrical partitions and spacer partitions (including the SCC4SPEL and SCC4SPER partitions) and helps protect the wiring and plumbing behind your appliances, so the appliance cabinet can be set up in several configurations.
The panel measures 21" W x 28-1/4" D x 34-1/2" H and weighs 18 lbs. It is made of 304 stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance, and it goes in with a pin-lock system that does not need specialized tools.
A removable counter rail lets you get into the cabinet for access or changes later. A solid kick plate across the back adds structural support and finishes off the lower section.

Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

Exactly what I needed to finish off my island. The stainless matches my other Sunstone cabinets and gives it a clean, built-in look. Install was straightforward, even for a DIY guy like me.
Solid and well made, no doubt. Finishes off the back of my appliance cabinet. Only hang-up is the price, feels a little steep for what it is, but the quality is there.
I'm a contractor and I always recommend Sunstone for outdoor kitchens. You need these back panels for a professional finish, especially when an island isn't against a wall. Fit and finish are always spot on and my jobs look great.
If you're building an island, don't skip the back panels. This one closed off the back of my grill cabinet nicely and hides all the plumbing and wiring. Makes the whole patio look a lot better.
I spend a lot of time in my outdoor kitchen and I'm picky about quality. This back panel is really durable and made to handle the weather. Small detail, but it makes a big difference in how the whole setup looks and holds up.
