**Q: Can this stay outside all year near the coast?**

Yes, it's high-grade stainless steel, which resists corrosion really well. With all the salt near the coast, though, we'd wipe it down now and then and use a grill cover when you're not cooking. That little bit of extra care helps it last and keeps surface discoloration away.

**Q: How do I clean the spit rod and forks after a greasy roast?**

Soak them in hot soapy water right after you use them to loosen the baked-on grease and food. Then scrub them with a stiff brush or non-abrasive scouring pad. Rinse well and dry completely so you don't get water spots and the stainless keeps its shine. Skip abrasive cleaners that could scratch it.

**Q: How hard is this to install? Do I need special tools or a pro?**

With basic DIY skills it's usually pretty easy. It comes with the mounting bracket and all the hardware. You'll probably need a screwdriver and maybe a wrench. You attach the bracket to the grill, put the motor in, then the spit rod. Most people finish in under an hour without help.

**Q: Will this fit my older Sunstone grill, or only the Sapphire?**

This one is made for the 28 inch Sunstone and OCS Sapphire grill. Some Sunstone parts swap between models, but the mounting bracket and rack sizes here are made for that grill so they fit securely. Check your grill's model number before you order.
