## Description

The Sunstone Ruby-Hybrid Pro Duo Post Mount (SPM_R3B-CHSZ30) is a stand-alone station with a gas grill and a charcoal/wood grill side by side. It is made for patios, decks and rooftops, where it stands on its own posts instead of going into an island.

The gas grill puts out up to 60,000 BTU. The two grills sit in dual 33" Universal Appliance Jackets joined by a 6" center divider through the Universal Jacket Safety System, for an overall width of 72". The station stands on dual 22" heavy-duty post fixtures, and fold-down stainless steel jacket wings give you side prep and serving space.

All of it is 304 stainless steel, and it weighs about 350 lbs. See our warranty page for coverage.

## Questions & answers

**Q: What does the warranty cover on this combo, and for how long?**

Coverage details, including what's covered and for how long, are on our warranty page. Register your grill when you buy it and look over the warranty paperwork that comes with it for any exclusions. If you ever need to make a claim, contact us with your order number.

**Q: How easy is this to clean, especially after a big charcoal cook? Any tips?**

It's easier than you'd think. On the gas side, brush the grates and use a degreaser on the surfaces. On the charcoal side, take the ash out regularly and brush the grates. For tough charcoal residue, a good grill brush and some warm soapy water will do it, and both sides will be ready for your next cook.

**Q: At this price, what's it made of? Will it last outside?**

It's 304-grade stainless steel throughout, including the burners, grates and main housing. That steel is very corrosion resistant and durable, even in tough outdoor conditions, so it'll stand up to the weather and regular use for years. It's built solid and cooks great.

**Q: Can I build this into my existing island, or is it post-mount only?**

It's sold as a post-mount package, and that's the standard setup. The gas grill and the charcoal and wood smoker can often be built into custom island cutouts if you'd rather, but you'd need to check the exact dimensions and make sure your island has the right support and ventilation.

**Q: How complicated is installing this post-mount combo, since it's gas plus charcoal?**

For a qualified installer it's straightforward. You secure the post to a good foundation, connect the gas line to the gas grill and make sure there's proper ventilation. A handy DIYer might take it on, but we always recommend a pro, especially for the gas connection, so it's safe and runs right.
