The StarBBQ 24" Smokeless Fire Pit Base with Base Rim and Raised Searing Grate (STARBBQ-24FPBS-BSR-RSE) is a wood-burning fire pit and searing grill in one. Patented airflow technology keeps smoke to a minimum and heat output high.

It comes with the fire pit base, a base rim frame and a raised searing grate. The grate has V-track rails for self-basting searing and steakhouse-style char. The base rim also holds other accessories.

**Q: What's the best way to clean the searing grate and the inside after cooking?**

Scrape off the bigger bits while the grate is still warm, then use a grill brush. For the stainless inside and out, mild soap and water on a soft cloth works well. Dry it afterward so you don't get water spots. For stubborn stains or to bring the shine back, use a stainless steel cleaner and wipe with the grain.

**Q: What's the fire pit base made of? It's really humid where I live.**

It's 304 grade stainless steel, which is very durable and resists corrosion, so humidity shouldn't be a problem. Cleaning it regularly will help it last and keep its shine.
