## Description

The StarBBQ 24" Smokeless Fire Pit Base with Base Rim and Raised Griddle (STARBBQ-24FPBS-BSR-RGR) puts a flat-top griddle over a wood or charcoal fire, so you can grill, sauté and fry outdoors. The patented airflow system cuts down the smoke and gives a cleaner burn.

The 24" solid steel griddle has a non-stick surface and sits on a modular base rim frame that holds it securely and also takes other accessories. The ash tray is removable for cleanup.

The fire pit is 304 stainless steel with a heat-resistant powder coating and weighs about 50 lbs. It stands on its own triangular base or fits into a custom outdoor kitchen.

**Q: Best way to clean the raised griddle after searing something greasy?**

Scrape off the big food bits while it's still warm with a metal spatula or griddle scraper. Once it cools, wash it with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive brush, rinse well and dry it right away so you don't get water spots. For really tough grease, a little baking soda paste works great.

**Q: What's this fire pit made of, and will it handle rain and snow?**

It's high-grade stainless steel, which is very durable and resists corrosion. That makes it a good fit outdoors, and it should handle rain and snow without much wear. To help it last, cover it when you're not using it during long stretches of rough weather.

**Q: I have a portable fire pit already. Can I use my own griddle or accessories with this one?**

It's made to work with the raised griddle it comes with and other StarBBQ accessories. Some other brands' accessories might fit, but we strongly recommend sticking with StarBBQ accessories so everything fits, runs safely and cooks the way it should. It's designed as a complete cooking setup.

**Q: How hard is this fire pit to install? Do I need a pro?**

A DIYer can usually handle it. It comes mostly assembled, and you're mainly attaching the base rim and setting the griddle in place. You don't need a second person, but it's a lot easier with help lifting and positioning it, especially if you're fitting it into an existing outdoor kitchen.
