## Description

The Sunstone Series 30" Gas Hybrid Single Zone Charcoal/Wood Grill (Item No. SUNCHSZ30) cooks with gas, charcoal, wood and infrared in one compact built-in grill. You can smoke, sear or roast on it, with mesquite and other woods or with gas.

Two gas burners produce up to 30,000 BTUs, and an up to 15,000 BTU infrared back burner handles rotisserie cooking, for up to 45,000 BTUs total. The grill reaches searing temperatures over 800°F. An integrated electronic ignition system starts it, and the height-adjustable burn tray controls how hard the charcoal or wood burns. It takes customizable drawer setups and dual rotisserie options, with adjustable vents on the front, side and back of the hood.

Construction is 14 gauge 304 stainless steel. The grill measures 30" W x 25-3/4" H x 25-3/4" D, needs a cut-out of 27-1/2" W x 12-3/4" H x 22" D and weighs 170 lbs.

## Questions & answers

**Q: What's the warranty on this grill? It's a big purchase and I want to be covered.**

Coverage details are on our warranty page. Register the grill when you buy it, and if anything comes up, contact us with your order number.

**Q: With the charcoal and wood side, how do I clean out the ash and grease?**

After each use, let the grill cool, then take out the cooking grates and ash tray and dump the charcoal and wood ash. For grease, use a good grill cleaner on the stainless and a brass brush on the grates. Cleaning it regularly keeps buildup down and keeps it looking good.

**Q: What's this grill made of? I'm near the coast, so corrosion is a big worry.**

It's commercial-grade 304 stainless steel, which resists rust and corrosion really well, so it's a great pick near the coast. It's heavy duty and built to last and keep cooking well even in tough outdoor conditions.

**Q: Can this grill run on natural gas, or is it propane only? I have natural gas.**

It usually comes set up for propane, but it can be converted to natural gas with an optional conversion kit. You'd buy the kit separately and have a certified gas tech install it so it runs safely.

**Q: I'm planning a new outdoor kitchen. How hard is this grill to build into a custom island?**

It's made to be built in. It needs a cutout of about 28-3/4" W x 10-1/4" H x 23-1/2" D, and you'll need gas plus an electrical connection for the infrared burner and igniter. We recommend a pro handle the gas and electrical so it's safe and up to code.
