## Questions & answers

**Q: Does this tray have a warranty, and what if I have questions after I buy it?**

Coverage details are on our warranty page. If you have problems or questions after your purchase, contact us with your order number. We're happy to help with how to use it, troubleshooting or a warranty claim.

**Q: How do I clean the tray after smoking or grilling with charcoal?**

Once it's completely cool, dump out the leftover ash and charcoal. For stuck-on residue, scrub the grates and tray with a stiff wire brush. For a deeper clean, use a degreaser or warm soapy water, rinse well and let it dry completely before you put it away. Stainless resists rust really well, but drying it helps too.

**Q: What's this tray made of, and how long will it last with regular use?**

It's heavy-gauge stainless steel, which is durable and handles high heat and corrosion well. It stands up to the heat from charcoal and wood chips for years of regular use, even outdoors. It holds up really well to frequent grilling and smoking.

**Q: Will this tray fit my gas grill even though it's listed as a Ruby part?**

It's mainly made for Sunstone Ruby series grills, but it can fit other gas grills if the firebox is big enough. Measure the inside of your grill to make sure the tray has room to sit properly with space for air to flow. If you're not sure, check your grill's manual or contact us.

**Q: Is this charcoal and smoking tray hard to install? Do I need special tools?**

No, it's simple. It fits right into your grill's firebox, usually in place of the standard briquette tray or heat diffusers. You won't need anything beyond your normal grill tools, maybe a screwdriver to pull out existing parts. Just make sure your grill's inside dimensions fit the tray so it sits snug.
