**Q: Does this ignitor wire need any special cleaning?**

Very little. Every now and then, wipe the visible part of the wire with a dry cloth to get grease or debris off. Don't use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners since they can damage the insulation. Just keep it clean and clear.

**Q: How long does this ignitor wire last? I've had wires corrode before.**

It's made with quality, heat-resistant materials meant for outdoor grilling. Any outdoor electrical part can corrode over time, but checking it regularly and keeping the connections tight will make it last a lot longer. It's a sturdy part.
