**Q: How do I clean the gauge so it stays accurate?**

Pretty simple. Wipe the outside with a damp cloth. For the probe that sticks into the grill, gently scrub off grease or residue with a brush and warm soapy water. Don't use harsh abrasives and don't dunk the whole head in water, so the inside stays protected and accurate.

**Q: What's the gauge made of? Will it hold up to weather and high grill heat?**

It's stainless steel, which resists corrosion outside and handles the high heat inside a grill. It'll keep reading accurately and hold together for many seasons. Just make sure it's sealed properly so moisture can't get in.

**Q: Will this gauge work on any brand of grill, or only Sunstone?**

It's made for Sunstone, but it fits most grill lids that take a standard probe thermometer. If your lid has the right size hole, or you don't mind drilling one, it should work fine and give you accurate readings inside the grill, whatever the brand.

**Q: Is it easy to put this temperature gauge in my grill lid?**

Usually, yes. Most grills have a pre-drilled hole, or you can drill one if yours doesn't. You take out the old gauge if there is one, push the new probe through the hole and tighten the included nut on the inside of the lid. It normally takes less than 10 minutes.
