## Description

The StarBBQ 24" Charcoal Smoker with Hood and Cart (STARBBQ-24CHBS-HDR-CRT) is a portable charcoal smoker station with a smoker hood for low-and-slow cooking, the ExGrate system and a heavy-duty cart.

The ExGrate system makes ash removal easy. The cooking surface is 24", it burns charcoal or wood, and the station is built from heavy-gauge steel. It stands freestanding on the cart and weighs 145 lbs.

**Q: Best way to clean this smoker after a long cook?**

Let it cool completely, then pull out the grates and ash pan. Scrape the grates with a wire brush, empty the ash, and wipe the inside and outside with a damp cloth. For stubborn grease, a mild degreaser made for stainless steel works really well.

**Q: What's this smoker made of, and how does it handle the weather?**

It's heavy-gauge stainless steel, which is very durable and resists corrosion. It holds up to rain and harsh sun and keeps looking and working well with proper care.

**Q: Can I build this smoker into an island, or does it have to stay on the cart?**

It comes with its own cart for freestanding use, but the smoker itself can come off and be built into a custom island. You'll need proper ventilation and support for a built in setup. At 24 inches it's a good size for that.
