Description
The StarBBQ 24" Charcoal Smoker with Hood and Cart (STARBBQ-24CHBS-HDR-CRT) is a portable charcoal smoker station with a smoker hood for low-and-slow cooking, the ExGrate system and a heavy-duty cart.
The ExGrate system makes ash removal easy. The cooking surface is 24", it burns charcoal or wood, and the station is built from heavy-gauge steel. It stands freestanding on the cart and weighs 145 lbs.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

This 24" charcoal smoker is a beast. The heavy gauge steel feels really solid and the ExGrate makes managing coals easy on long smokes. Only complaint is the cart, sturdy but kind of fiddly to put together by myself.
Great smoker. The 24" surface is plenty to feed my whole family and then some. The hood helps keep temps steady and you can tell the steel is heavy gauge the minute you unbox it. My brisket has never been better.
I'd been looking for a serious charcoal smoker for a long time and this one delivers. Being able to use charcoal or wood gives me a lot of options. It's heavy at 145 lbs, but that just tells you how solid it is.
Does a great job, no doubt. The ExGrate is nice for dealing with ash and the heavy gauge steel build is impressive. It's a lot of money, but it feels like it'll last a lifetime.
Really happy with the flavor I'm getting out of this 24" smoker. The hood keeps the heat in and the heavy gauge steel feels built to last. Putting the cart and smoker together took longer than I expected, but it was worth it.
