**Q: Does the IR orifice need any cleaning once it's installed?**

Very little. Its job is to regulate gas flow, so keeping the burner area around it clean and free of debris helps it work well. Don't use harsh chemicals right on the orifice. If you think it's blocked, which is rare, a soft brush can clear it.

**Q: What's this orifice made of? Will it last outdoors?**

It's brass, which resists corrosion well and handles high temperatures. It'll hold up in an outdoor kitchen and work reliably for years. It's still a good idea to look it over during your regular grill maintenance.

**Q: Will this IR orifice work with other grill brands, or just Sunstone?**
