**Q: After converting to LP, do the new parts need special maintenance?**

Maintenance is the same as any LP grill. Check the gas hose regularly for cracks or leaks and make sure the connections are tight. Keep the regulator clean, and store your LP tank properly when you're not using it. That helps the whole gas system last.

**Q: What are the parts in this kit made of? Will they last outdoors?**

The orifices and regulator are made from corrosion resistant metals like brass and stainless steel. They're picked to stand up to the outdoors and to LP gas, so your converted grill should have a long life.

**Q: Will this work on my older 42 inch Ruby? Not sure if it's the BIR model.**

This kit is made specifically for the 42" Ruby 5 burner with the IR burner (the BIR model). It may physically fit other 42" Ruby models, but the orifices and regulator are calibrated for that grill's burners. On a different model you could get a bad flame, weaker performance or even a safety issue, so we strongly advise against it.
