**Q: Do the natural gas parts need any special care after the conversion?**

Not much beyond normal grill care. Check the gas lines now and then for wear or leaks, especially before grilling season. Keep the burner ports clean so the flame stays even, same as any gas grill.

**Q: What's this kit made of? Will it hold up outdoors?**

It's built from durable materials made for outdoor conditions and natural gas use. The orifices and gas lines are corrosion resistant metal, so they last and run safely. You can expect the same solid quality as the grill itself.

**Q: Will this kit work on my older Ruby 5 burner or only the BIR model?**

It's designed and tested only for the 42" Ruby 5 burner with the IR burner. The orifices and other parts are calibrated for that model to get the right fuel and air mix and safe operation when switching from LP to NG. We don't recommend using it on a different model, even an older Ruby 5 burner, since it could cause performance or safety problems.

**Q: I'm not very handy. How hard is this kit to install?**

The install is fairly straightforward, but we really recommend a certified gas technician. They'll make sure the connections are secure and up to code for natural gas, which keeps things safe and your grill running its best. A bad install could also void your grill's warranty.
