**Q: Once I switch to LP, do the new parts need any special care?**

Not really, just normal grill cleaning. It's a good idea to check the gas lines and connections every so often for wear or leaks, especially at the regulator and hose connections. Keep the burner orifices free of debris like you would on any gas grill and the flame will stay right after the conversion.

**Q: What's this kit made of? I want it to hold up outdoors.**

The orifices are brass, and the regulator and fittings are durable metal. They're corrosion resistant and chosen to handle outdoor use and high heat. Install it properly and check it once in a while and it should keep working reliably.

**Q: Will this kit work on my older 36 inch Ruby? Not sure if mine is the BIR version.**

This kit is made only for the 36" Ruby 4 burner with the IR burner (the BIR model). It might physically fit other 36" Ruby models, but the orifices and regulator settings are calibrated for that grill's burners. On a non-BIR grill you could get a bad flame, weaker performance, or even a safety problem, so please check your grill's model number before you order.

**Q: I want to switch my Ruby 4BIR from natural gas to propane. How involved is the install?**

A capable DIYer can do it, but we always recommend a licensed gas technician for safety and to make sure it works right. You replace the orifices on the burners and manifold, and you may need to adjust the regulator, so it takes care. The kit includes detailed instructions for that grill.
