## Description

The G-COVER5B is a Sunstone BBQ cover for 42" 5 burner gas grills. It keeps the grill clean and dry and protects it from dust, rain, snow and UV rays, which extends the life of the grill.

The cover is heavy-duty waterproof fabric with an anti-UV coating that holds up to rain, wind, storms, strong sun, dust and snow and helps prevent rust, corrosion and fading. Built-in tension around all edges keeps it snug and in place. With the cover on, small children and pets have a harder time getting to the grill knobs when the grill is unattended. It weighs about 2 lbs. See our [warranty page](https://sunstonemp.com/warranty) for coverage.

## Questions & answers

**Q: Does this cover have a warranty? What if it rips?**

Coverage details are on our warranty page. If it rips or has a problem, contact us with your order number.

**Q: How do I clean pollen or bird droppings off this cover? Can it go in the washer?**

Hand wash it with mild soap and water, rinse it well and let it air dry completely. Keep it out of the washer and dryer, since that can damage the protective coating and make it less water resistant. A soft brush helps with stubborn spots.

**Q: What's this cover made of, and how long will it last in strong sun and rain?**

These covers are typically heavy-duty, weather-resistant polyester with a PVC backing for better waterproofing. With proper care it should last several years, 3 to 5 or more, even in tough conditions, without tearing or fading much. Regular cleaning helps it last longer.

**Q: I have a Weber Genesis II E-410, about 61 inches wide. Will this cover fit, or is the 42 inch in the name misleading?**

The 42 inches refers to a common depth or the model series it's made for, not necessarily the overall width. For a 61 inch wide grill like yours, this cover will likely be too small. You'll want a cover made for grills in the 60 to 65 inch width range so it's fully covered and protected.

**Q: Is this cover easy to put on and take off? Does it have straps for windy days?**

Yes, it has a tailored fit so it goes on and off easily. It also has adjustable buckle straps on the sides to cinch it down around your grill so it won't blow off in strong wind. Fasten them snug for the best protection.
