## Description

The 6" Sunstone Universal Appliance Jacket Divider (SUNJKDIV6) joins several Sunstone jackets into one group. The whole group goes into the island through a single cut-out, with the appliances connected in one continuous run instead of separate jackets with dead space between them. You can build packages such as a gas grill with side burners, or a charcoal and gas grill combo.

Each jacket side takes minor assembly. To use the divider, leave off the jacket sides that would face each other, then attach the open left or right side of each jacket to the divider. Open the utility port in the divider to run gas or electrical lines between appliances. It is 304 stainless steel with left and right utility ports and a zero clearance design.

Like the jackets, the group has in/out vents at the lower front and upper back edges so excess heat and gas pass through, and each appliance hangs free from the upper rim. Put adjustable peg-legs under the whole group to set it on any surface before the island is finished or for tailgating, or mount it on the post mounts (SUNJKPOST) with the side wings (SUNJKWING) for a post-mount grill package. ## Questions & answers

**Q: Is there a warranty on this divider, and what if I need help after I buy?**

Yes. If you have a problem or a question, contact us with your order number and we'll help with troubleshooting or a warranty claim. Coverage details are on our warranty page.

**Q: How do I keep this divider looking good?**

For everyday cleaning, a damp cloth with mild soap and water wipes off grease and grime. For stubborn spots or to bring back the shine, use a stainless steel cleaner and polish on a soft cloth, going with the grain. Avoid abrasive cleaners and scouring pads, they'll scratch and dull the finish.

**Q: What's this divider made of, and how does it hold up outside?**

It's commercial grade 304 stainless steel, which is very durable and resists corrosion. It handles rough weather, temperature extremes and everyday wear without rusting or breaking down. It should keep its looks for many years, even near the coast or in high humidity.

**Q: My outdoor kitchen has appliances from different brands. Will this divider fit, or is it only for Sunstone?**

It works with a wide range of appliances, not just Sunstone. If your appliances have room for a 6 inch separation, it'll give you a clean, insulated barrier between them, no matter the brand.

**Q: How hard is this divider to install, and what tools do I need?**

With basic DIY skills it's straightforward. It slips into a pre-cut opening in your island. You'll mainly need a tape measure and a level, plus a drill if you're cutting a new opening, or just a screwdriver to secure it. Check your cutout dimensions against the specs before you start.
