## Description

The Classic Series 42" Vented Double Door Flush Mount (C-DD42) opens wide for the storage space under a grill or counter, with vents to let air through.

It measures 42" W x 21-1/8" H x 1-5/8" D and fits a 39-1/2" W x 18-1/2" H cut-out. The depth from the face to the frame mounting hole is 1", which fits a typical 4" island frame depth.

The frame is 16 gauge 304 stainless steel and the door panels are 18 gauge 304 stainless steel, finished in No. 4 light brushed with the Classic Series flush style. **Q: How do I keep the stainless on these doors looking new?**

For regular cleaning, use mild dish soap and warm water on a soft cloth, then dry it well so you don't get water spots. For stubborn stains or to bring back the shine, use a stainless steel cleaner and polish. Always wipe with the grain so it doesn't streak.

**Q: What are these doors made of, and how do they handle rain and sun?**

Like everything in our Classic Series, they're commercial-grade stainless steel. It resists corrosion very well and holds up to rain, humidity and strong sun. A quick wipe-down now and then keeps them looking good for years.

**Q: Can these doors hold a propane tank and a trash pull-out, or are they just for storage?**

Yes, they're great for a propane tank, and the vents matter there for safety and airflow. There's also plenty of room for a trash pull-out, or just storage for BBQ tools, charcoal and cleaning supplies.

**Q: Is this door hard to install? Any special tools?**

With basic DIY skills it's pretty straightforward. It flush mounts into a cutout (exact measurements are on the spec sheet). You'll usually need a drill, screwdriver and level, plus a jigsaw if your island isn't pre-cut. Mounting hardware is included.
