## Description

The Sunstone 42" Gas Hybrid Dual Zone Charcoal/Wood Burning Grill (Item No. EMCHDZ42) combines gas, charcoal and wood grilling in one built-in grill. It suits everything from a family barbecue to a large gathering.

Two gas burners deliver a combined up to 35,000 BTUs. The dual-zone charcoal and wood drawers have Piezo push-button ignition, so charcoal or wood lights quickly without lighter fluid. Height-adjustable burn trays let you set the heat for searing or for low-and-slow smoking.

The grill is built entirely from 14 gauge 304 stainless steel and has an easy-lift, spring-assisted hood, an LED-lit front control panel and halogen interior lighting. It measures 42" W x 28" H x 27-1/8" D, needs a cut-out of 39-1/2" W x 12-3/4" H x 22" D and weighs 216 lbs.

## Questions & answers

**Q: What's the warranty like on this grill? I want to be covered on something this pricey.**

Coverage details are on our warranty page. If anything goes wrong, contact us with your order number and we'll help with the issue or a claim.

**Q: How do you get the charcoal ash out? Is it a pain?**

It's easy. Each charcoal and wood zone has an ash tray that slides out from the front or bottom, so you can empty it quickly without a mess. On the gas side, clean it like any grill: brush the grates and wipe it down with a stainless steel cleaner.

**Q: What's this grill made of? Will it hold up in Florida?**

It's 304 stainless steel, which resists corrosion and rust well, even near the coast like in Florida. The grates are heavy-duty stainless too, for durability and even heat. Take care of it and use a good cover, and it'll look and cook great for many years.

**Q: Can I run gas and charcoal at the same time, or is it one or the other?**

You can use both. It has two separate cooking zones, so you can run gas on one side for quick searing or indirect heat and charcoal or wood on the other for real smoke flavor. That lets you cook different ways at the same time.

**Q: Is this hybrid grill hard to install?**

For an outdoor kitchen appliance it's pretty straightforward. You'll connect it to a gas line (natural gas or propane, depending on your model) and make sure it has proper ventilation, especially for the charcoal and wood side. We always recommend a pro for gas hookups for safety and performance, but detailed instructions are included if you want to do it yourself.
