## Description

The Classic Series 42" Double Door Flush Mount (A-DD42) opens wide for the storage space under a grill or counter.

It measures 42" W x 21-1/8" H x 1-5/8" D and fits a 39-1/2" W x 18-1/2" H cut-out. It mounts with screws through the pre-cut frame holes. Install it with the handles at the highest position.

The frame is 16 gauge 304 stainless steel and the door panels are 18 gauge 304 stainless steel, finished in No. 4 light brushed with the Classic Series flush style. Wipe them down regularly with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. For stubborn spots or to bring back the shine, use a stainless steel cleaner and polish made for outdoor use. Avoid abrasive cleaners and scouring pads, they'll scratch the finish.

**Q: What are these doors made of? I'm on the coast and need something that can handle salt air.**

They're typically stainless steel, often 304 grade, which does well outdoors. It resists rust and corrosion, even in salt air. Regular cleaning helps keep them looking good and lasting longer near the coast.

**Q: Will this 42 inch door fit my brand of outdoor kitchen cabinets, or is it universal?**

It's mostly universal, as long as you have the right rough opening in your island. It isn't tied to one brand, but your cabinet frame or island has to fit its exact dimensions for a flush fit. Check the cutout dimensions against your island before you order.

A DIYer can do it. Since it's a flush mount, you need a precisely cut opening in your island. The doors come pre-assembled in the frame, and you usually secure it with screws through the pre-drilled holes in the flange. A drill and screwdriver are about all you need.
