Fried Chicken using the Steamer/Fryer/Boiler:
- 4 chicken thighs, bone-in
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- Cooking oil, for frying
- Preheat the Steamer/Fryer/Boiler to 375°F.
- In a bowl, mix together flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried thyme.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together egg and milk.
- Dredge chicken thighs in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg mixture, and then coat again in the flour mixture.
- Carefully place the chicken thighs in the Steamer/Fryer/Boiler basket.
- Fry the chicken until golden brown, about 10-12 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the basket and place on a wire rack to cool and drain excess oil.
